Ronald W. Meyer, CPA
Ron was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 16, 1966. He graduated December 1988 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.B.A. in Accounting. After he moved to Austin in July of 1989, Ron began his career preparing tax returns for an enrolled agent.
Ron sat for the CPA examination for the first time in November 1991 and passed all four parts. He joined a local public accounting firm the following summer. A member of the Austin Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, Ron has had speaking engagements for such groups as the Austin Young Lawyers Association, Southwest Region of the National Society of Professional Engineers, South Texas Youth Soccer Association, Texas Association of Builders, and Texas Society of Professional Engineers. He has written for the Texas Builder magazine.
Ron’s areas of responsibility as Managing Member of Ronald W. Meyer, P.L.L.C. include:
- Preparation or review for individual, corporate, partnership, estate, trust, homeowner association, and non-profit organization tax returns.
- Analysis and implementation of year-end tax strategies for clients.
- Preparation and review of medicaid and medicare nursing facility cost reports.
- Representation for nursing facilities during desk reviews and on-site audits by regulatory agencies.
- Financial statement issuance under the assurance levels of compilation review or audit.
- Presentation of reports to boards of directors and trustees.
Ron and his wife, Janet, enjoy traveling, museums, cooking, wine, and spending time with their five nieces and one nephew.
